Shawn Griffin - Editor / Colorist / VFX

Shawn strongly believes that films should be driven by emotion and that it is his job as an editor to bring those emotions to the forefront of any project he is a part of. Shawn is one of the original members of Moon Rabbit Media and has been editing with the company since its founding. Shawn studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design with a focus on post-production and editing. After graduating, Shawn began working on local film productions in Savannah and has gone on to create projects regionally, nationally, and internationally. Shawn has also edited several feature-length documentaries and has worked outside the studio as a Digital Imaging Tech (DIT) for films such as Pine Grove Vixen (2022), Soldier’s Heart (2020), and In Search of Liberty (2017). Shawn is an avid Colorist and VFX artist and is known to be a triple threat in the world of post-production. He also works as a Post Production Supervisor, managing teams across multiple platforms such as motion media, animation, VFX, post-sound, and original score creation. Making sure that all elements of the production blend together seamlessly for the final result.
